What are Welding Services?
Welding is a metal fabrication process that joins metal materials on the application of high heat to melt parts together and then cooling them. The melted base metal is often mixed with a filler metal to make the weld stronger. In conjunction with heat, pressure may also be applied to produce a quality weld.
Sometimes a shielding gas is also used to protect the melted or filler metals from getting oxidized or contaminated. There are a variety of techniques to carry out the welding process and the most common is the arc welding process. In arc welding, an electric arc is created between an electrode and base metal by a power supply. This welding process has been adopted across industries to fuse metals.
